"Yesterday you went to work to do your job. Today you went to work to save the WORLD!" I think this saying sums it all up! National Nurse Appreciation week is May 6-May 12, and I believe this year more than ever we need to show our appreciation to these frontline workers.
Just look at Instagram and #nurses and you'll find nurses with marks and scars on their faces from masks and goggles, nurses who are also moms and have to stay out of the house and not see their children. The other day I saw a post from a daughter whose father was already working 12 hour shifts again the week after he beat COVID-19.
